Terms of Use
Effective 5 September 2026.
Value Machine is a service of Value Machine LLC ("we", "us") at valuemachine.tech. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you may do so.
What the service is
Value Machine keeps an organization's work as records, the links between them, and to-dos, in projects, and lets people and AI agents work on it together. An organization is the unit of ownership and billing; its admins decide who belongs to it, which projects each member sees, and which tools connect to it.
Accounts
You need an email address to sign up. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and under any tool you connect.
Connected tools and AI agents
You may connect tools such as Claude Code to an organization through our MCP server. Each connected tool acts as an agent with a token, on behalf of the person who connected it: it can do what that person can do, no more, and its reach is worked out afresh on every call, so it widens and narrows as theirs does. Everything an agent does is recorded in the project's history under its name and theirs. You are responsible for the tools you connect and for revoking their tokens when you no longer want them; you can do that at any time. When you or a connected tool use AI features, the content involved is sent to the AI provider that performs the work (today Anthropic), only to perform it.
AI output can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you rely on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy of anything an agent writes.
Your content
What you put into Value Machine is yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, show it to the people and tools you have authorized, back it up, and process it to run the service, and nothing more. We do not sell it, use it to train models, or show it to anyone you have not authorized. You are responsible for having the right to put it here.
Nothing you store is deleted by ordinary use: records are archived, not erased, and every change is kept in the project's history so it can be undone. If you want data removed for good, ask us; see the Privacy Policy for how.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to store content you have no right to store, to attack or overload the service or other people's accounts, or to send us or others unsolicited messages. Do not try to reach an organization or project you have not been given access to. We may suspend an account that does these things.
Plans and payment
Every organization starts on the Free plan and may stay there. Plans set limits (people, projects, datapoints and features) that the service enforces; the current limits are shown on the Billing page. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor, and renew until you cancel from the Billing page, which takes effect at the end of the paid period. When a paid plan ends, the organization returns to the Free plan and keeps its data. Prices may change; we will tell you before a change applies to you.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we provide it as it is, without warranties of any kind, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service we will give you time to export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Value Machine LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms, giving notice where we reasonably can.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable United States law. Questions go to [email protected]. We may update these terms; the effective date above tells you when we last did, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
